Ha. I find this funny because the closest thing I have to a boyfriend, really isn’t a boyfriend at all. But I’ll try my best.
Dear “boyfriend”,
I have no idea how this is going to work. You graduate in less than two weeks, will leave for basic training God knows when, and I’m concerned. Major concerns are for your life, but I know I can’t worry about any of that until it’s a final decission and you are gone. So I choose to focus my worries on our relationship- or the lack of one. I feel like I could not have gone through high school with out you. You’ve liked me since my freshman year and we’ve began this “fling” only last August. But miscomunications have driven us appart, and for months, I blocked you out of my life. You’ve appologized over and over for your mistakes and all I can do is take you for what you are and what you need right now. I don’t know what’ll happen in the future but I’d rather risk the potential heart break than cast you off in my past. I couldn’t stand to be a part, no matter how passionate I get in situations. Please recognize that I’ve gotten better, control is there. Maybe something real will never form, but for right now, I’m just giving it my all. I’d rather try than wonder later. But please don’t leave, pay attention to me. Please. Give it your all as well. Turn back to the boy I fell for, without the help of drugs.
